As of September 2019, the former Euro Chlor Sodium Hypochlorite, Calcium Hypochlorite and Chlorine Registration Groups have been migrated from the management of Euro Chlor, a sector group of Cefic, to the management of SCC LEGAL GmbH, a law firm registered in Germany, acting as Consortium Manager and Legal Consultant.

The Registration Groups are now referred to as:

The active substances, previously referred to as Sodium Hypochlorite, Calcium Hypochlorite and Chlorine, have been officially renamed (e.g. BPC opinions, assessment reports and on the Article 95 List) and are now referred to as:

  • Active Chlorine released from Sodium Hypochlorite;
  • Active Chlorine released from Calcium Hypochlorite; and
  • Active Chlorine released from Chlorine.
